Jeremy Hancock The album has flashes of a lot of great albums I've heard before but is very much it's own thing. Nice breath of fresh air. Diskmakers sent us 4 copies of the test pressing in mid July of 2020. Regrettably, we threw the others away. But this copy is up for grabs if anyone would like it.

We never thought of putting this up for sale, but now that we've sold out of the vinyl pressing much faster than we expected, thought we should put it out there just in case.

It's pretty bare bones—just a plain white sleeve, and a factory sticker on the label's A-Side saying the band name, release date and album title. Side B is signed. But the test pressings were approved, so the music on this plays beautifully. We will also include a certificate authenticating the signature.

Lyrically, this album's main theme is that most of us are only here for 70 or 80 years, and need to spend a fair amount of that time asking metaphysical questions. We must peer into the abyss, even though it's generally more comfortable to try to ignore it.

Compositionally, the music is influenced by Jon Brion, Aimee Mann, the Beatles, Vampire Weekend and Radiohead. But the performances and vibe are not so much like those artists. Kahlil's Razor has developed a mysterious, dark and beautiful sound that is difficult to compare to others.
